Build the garment around your design.

Choose a blank T-shirt by fit, jersey and decoration—not GSM alone.
A wholesale blank T-shirt programme begins with the wearer and intended use. Boxy streetwear, regular promotional tees and relaxed retail blanks need different measurements, jersey structures and finishing decisions. Compare the full specification before selecting a base garment.
Fit and jersey structure
Review chest width, body length, shoulder position, sleeve shape and shrinkage together. A heavyweight cotton jersey can feel structured or soft depending on yarn, knit, wash and finishing—not only the stated GSM.
Print and label compatibility
Screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, neck labels and packaging should be checked against the chosen fabric and colour. Artwork size, ink system and placement can change the recommended sample route.
Repeat wholesale planning
Confirm colours, size ratios and acceptable tolerances before bulk approval. For repeat blank T-shirt orders, record the approved garment, decoration reference and packing instruction so later runs can be compared consistently.
Use the T-shirt GSM guide to compare weight with knit structure, finish and intended use before selecting a blank. Add artwork, labels or packaging to a developed garment through Blank Apparel Customization. If fit, pattern, material or construction must be original, continue with Full Custom Clothing Manufacturing.
Blank T-shirt sourcing questions buyers ask before sampling.
What GSM works for a premium heavyweight blank T-shirt?
There is no universal premium number. Buyers commonly compare midweight and heavyweight directions, but yarn, knit density, wash, fit and end use also affect hand feel. Review a physical fabric or garment reference before approval.
Can one blank T-shirt support both screen printing and embroidery?
Often, but compatibility depends on fabric stability, artwork detail, placement and backing requirements. Large embroidery can distort lightweight jersey, while some ink systems need a specific surface or curing test.
How should an oversized blank T-shirt be specified?
Provide target chest width, body length, shoulder drop, sleeve opening and reference fit—not only the word oversized. DRIOV can then compare a developed blank route with full custom pattern development.
Can wholesale T-shirts use custom neck labels and packaging?
Private labels and packaging can be reviewed with the garment programme. Label dimensions, removal or cover-up requirements, folding method and destination labelling should be included before the sample is approved.
